Anna Kate Miller


Anna-Kate Miller is Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been practicing as a therapist for 18 years. She received her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Mississippi in 1999 and Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee in 2001. Anna-Kate takes a holistic approach to therapy considering a person’s mind, body and spiritual needs. She specializes in helping people through life's stressful events including adjustment to parenthood, loss and grief, care-taking of a loved one, general relationship struggles, stress management and addressing professional goals.  She works with clients who are dealing with issues such as depression, mood disorders, anxiety, eating disorders, co-dependency, and trauma.

Anna-Kate’s goal as a therapist is simple- to help people feel better and take control of their lives. Some people will start knowing what issue they want to address, and others reach out because they just aren't feeling like themselves. Anna-Kate uses a variety of approaches tailored to each client’s needs. This may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Strength-Based therapy.  Christian counseling is available upon request for those who choose to use their faith in counseling.  Anna-Kate works with clients of all faith backgrounds and is respectful and accepting of any spirituality. She works together with her clients to help them find a balance in life and give you them tools to learn to cope.

Anna-Kate has experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups in private practice, healthcare facilities and treatment centers. She also utilizes tele-health in her practices.  Anna-Kate works with seniors, adults, teen and children and is currently taking new clients.
